To help you make your best borrowing decision, we have added a loan calculator into the upcoming release of Numbers Cruncher. You will be able to do a generic loan calculation and then immediately place the monthly cost into your budget.

The new loan calculator is a planning tool that will help you see what a new truck, new equipment, or even a new building can cost your business. Like the other parts of Numbers Cruncher, the Loan Calculator is a planning tool.  You must be sure that the terms of your loan fit your business plan.

To calculate your loan costs, enter the Loan Amount, Interest Rate, Term, and the First Payment date.  The loan calculates automatically. You can then plug the monthly payment into your Budget.

For those of you who can't wait for the release of the new Numbers Cruncher, we have put a simple loan calculator on NSPGweb.com that you can use right now.  Just remember that you MUST make sure the loan terms that your lender offers fit into your budget.

Here are a couple of quick hints on how to get the most out of your NSPG Flat Rate software.

Free Online Updates
At the bottom of the File menu are a couple of buttons you may not have used on a regular basis.  The On Line Updates button will open your web browser and take you to the Free Flat Rate software update page.

You can download the latest version of the Guide that includes all improvements and fixes. Just click on the link to begin the download.  Then run the install and you'll be up to date.

It's Fast, it's Simple, and it's Free.

Automatic Data File Transmission
Also at the bottom of the File menu is the Send File button.  For the Price Guide users who have their Flat Rate Books printed by us, this is the quickest way to get your data files to us. Or, if you have a technical problem and we need to see your files for diagnosis, this is the easiest way to get the file to us.

A single click on the Send File button will compress your data file and send it to our secure support server. No fighting your email attachment limits or trying to figure out how FTP works.  Just click and go.

Getting your data to us for your custom printed books has never been easier.

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of meeting many of you at the Nexstar Money Masters in New Orleans. We got to spend some time at NSPG user Stuart Services site (see picture below).
